Cold Steel is a leader in many sorts of edged weapons. Cold Steel makes every thing from pocket knives, hunting knives, Fixed blades, tomahawks, machetes, swords, and kukris. They make just about any thing that might be used in martial arts. Cold steel is based out of Ventura, California but most of there products are made in other countries like India, Taiwan, China, and Japan. Cold steel knives make there knives and other products out of some of the best steel made. Steel such as VG-1 Stainless Steel, and SK-5 High Carbon Steel and many other top of the line steels. Cold Steel also make some videos to show the quality of the knives and other products. I would recommended watching these videos, they are quite impressive.
In 2007 Cold Steel started making knives with San Mai III. San Mai III is steel that is very hard in the middle, and lower-carbon steel on the sides to it is more flexible. The knives that Cold Steel started making with this kind of steer are Tanto Series, The Tai Pan, The Military Classic, The Natchez Bowie, Laredo Bowie, The San Mai III Trail Master, The San Mai III Gurkha Kukri, The Black Talon, and the Spectre. Plus many more these are just a few of the knives that they are making with this quality of steel.
Cold Steel is a very good manufacturer of pocket knives Hunting knives and every edged weapons that you can think of there quality and selection are second to no one and the steel that they use in making the knives is only the best. Cold Steel make knives for very thing that you can think of and range in there prices from very expensive to moderately expensive. I can not say enough good things about Cold Steel products.
